The social programme provides delegates with a fantastic opportunity to catch up with colleagues and make new connections. There are two key social activities within the programme, the Welcome Reception and the Gala Dinner.
The Welcome Reception takes place at Manchester Central between 18:00-19:00 on Sunday 21 July prior to the opening Plenary Session. Drinks and nibbles will be provided for all delegates.
The Gala Dinner takes place on the evening of Wednesday 24 July and is a ticketed event. Tickets are priced at £50 and can be purchased via the registration portal. The SMBE 2019 Gala Dinner is taking place at one of Manchester’s oldest and finest buildings – Manchester Cathedral.
Manchester Cathedral is a medieval building that has an incredible history and currently plays host to a number of pop concerts and events.
A full three course dinner, drinks and entertainment will be provided for guests during the Gala evening. The unique atmosphere of the building plus the outstanding food and entertainment will make the final night of the SMBE 2019 conference an occasion to remember.
